Lesson 1. Introduces you to the terms used when talking about the internet. When you learn how to use internet and email, the first step, if you haven't already done so, is to choose an Internet Service Provider (ISP) company to connect you to broadband or dial-up services. All this is covered, and from then on, you'll see how your ISP browser can take you around the world, wherever you want to go.
Lesson 2. Learning about the internet is the theme here. It shows you how to navigate your way around the World Wide Web (www). It explains how to choose a 'Homepage'. Then you start your first exploration of internet sites (or websites). Next you'll learn about 'Search Engines' which help you find everything you want to see on the internet.
Lesson 3. This how to use internet lesson takes you to the Amazon book site first. There you'll find out about 'History files' and learn how to print out pages and sections of a website. You'll visit radio stations, check road maps, worldwide accommodation sites and if you are on broadband, you can zoom from outer space right down onto your street!

Lesson 4. This involves you in using emails. You learn about sending and receiving emails, including how to compose email, attach pictures, choose typefaces, colours, and backgrounds to make emails really special. You are shown how to create an address book, how to file important emails and how to forward on emails.
Lesson 5. Continues your journey into using email and the defences that you can use to foil the evil intentions of hackers, viruses, worms, trojans, spyware and malicious cookies. The lesson makes clear how to combat these infections. You also learn about worldwide chatrooms and forums where you can meet people with similar interests. You will discover YouTube, blogs, and learn how to unfreeze your computer.
